Youth Migraines

A migraine is a primary headache disorder characterized by recurrent headaches that are moderate to severe. Migraines are thought to result from changes in levels of brain chemicals in regions of the brain. Often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to sound and light, migraine episodes can be disabling. Treatment is with over-the-counter medication or prescription drugs.
